10 New Android Games From The Last Week

Which came out as the best of the new apps for Android last week? Which were those that you simply had to downloaded straight to your device? Well, here they are, and my answer to that will be simple – 10 new Android games from the last week. The apps are as good as ever, but there are a couple of new ones that really stand out. Let’s take a look at what they are.

Monument Valley

Monument Valley – This is the first game from the new line of apps for Android, and it’s a gem. It turns your phone into a construction project, where you have to complete lots of different sections in order to move on to the next level. You have a limited number of lives, and you need to complete each section before moving on, but there are also treasures to find as you go along. It’s one of those games that feels like it’s going to keep you coming back, and that’s exactly what you’ll get from this one. There’s nothing like playing a game that makes you feel like you’re just really accomplishing something. If you like this kind of game, check out the other apps from the same developer, too.

Odd Blob

Odd Blob – What’s so great about Odd Blob is how it integrates the Android interface with the gaming concept in such a way that makes it fun to play. As you control the character with the left and right arrows on the screen, you’ll see that your eyes begin to move in very precise patterns as you turn the device. When an object or tile is viewed, you’ll notice that it gets highlighted in the lower portion of the screen, and when you pick it up, you’ll see that it drops down. It’s a neat concept that make it easy to pick up and play, and the controls work very smoothly, too. One of the best games to come out of Google this year, this one has everything that you could possibly want – including the wonderful animated backgrounds.

Angry Birds

Angry Birds – Finally, there’s another game that has everyone running around wildly, creating walls and shooting at birds. This one comes from the makers of Angry Birds, and you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into a fantasy world as you use the keyboard to throw birds into the air and see them crash into walls. The controls are simple, too, and you’ll find that you can master the game rather quickly. There are a variety of Angry Birds games available now, but if you truly want to play it online, you can get it for free. This one isn’t much different than any of the others, so take advantage of the first two versions to brush up on skills.

Temple of Elemental Evil

Temple of Elemental Evil – If you had trouble locating Temple of Elemental Evil when it came out, you’re in luck. A new update has made this one completely bug free, and you can finally download it from the Google Play Store. You can jump right into the action, and you can also collect all of the rare items that are scattered throughout the various levels. If you like your puzzle-solving skills in games, this is definitely a keeper.

Odd Man

Odd Man – If you love your humor, and you happen to like using an editing program to make your photos turn into the weirdest pictures possible, then Odd Man will certainly entertain you. With a new update out, this one should be more stable and work a lot better. Odd Man can now be played on your TV thanks to the addition of motion detection, so you can actually move the camera to move through the scenery and take a look at yourself in the mirror.

Sky diving action skydiving is one of the coolest and most exciting new Android Games from the last week. You can jump from the tallest building in the city to the ground and experience this new adrenaline rush. You’ll also be able to capture special balloons and send them floating down to your destination. When you’re ready, just touch the screen to pull up the screen and arrange them in whatever formation you wish. This game can be played alone or with friends, and it’s included in the recommended app list for the iPhone and iPad.

Need more excitement? Try the new skill-based puzzle game called Scrolling City. You’ll guide a cursor through a city filled with jumbled letters and try to eliminate each level by matching up the right letter with the color to make the correct placement. That’s not all, because you can add in other elements to the game to give it a little extra challenge. The in-game dictionary will help you brush up on your skills and you can even buy new weapons to improve your score.
